I'm sad for you loss but it's good to write about it. I think it is a good sign he looks happy in your dreams. I think it means that you perceive that he died doing what he wanted to be doing; so in a way his life was very successful. Not many of us actually die doing the thing we wished to do most of all. That is just one interpretation, however. Great writing: and try to remember the good times the most.
