The Face Of Change Poem by Deluke Muwanigwa

The Face Of Change

Rating: 5.0

Things never remain the same
A pet lion mauls you which you thought was tame.
Granted you are to blame
You thought it was a game

Engineers are now poets
Abandoning their cohorts
Politicians are now clowns
Scientists running the polity hands down.

'I can't breathe'
An invisible boot in my chest, can't ventilate with ease
See!
Before 5G there's 6G, talk of 7G

Are we hurtling towards death?
Or composing a rebirth?
The race is strange
The face of change
