The emotions of the poem come to rest here in the confidence that tenderness will prevail. In a prose context this sentence would be seen as something to develop further or even prove. But poetry knows better! The poem has brought us to a state of awareness which is blessed. After reading a poem like yours full of sweetness and light how could anyone say an unkind word?
