Thought provoking write, we always dare to do things our own way and discover that at the end the result is not what we expected!

Wow! Perfect simile..... Until I read the last and the heart of the poem: I perceived that you are describing a petty issue our day to day actions in a poetic slang and at last when the correlation has been shown up in the last stanza, I liked it all! Very professional....

Hi David, Nice poem. One has to wear a suitable near vision spectacles to read and also thread the needle and better visualization. Likewise to solve a problem, have a broad mind, open for various possibilities!

A beautiful analogy! With advancing years, it is so difficult to thread a needle... it requires immense patience! Solving the problems that come to us one by one also demands immense patience! Enjoyed this write which has employed a unique comparison! !

Life can be a bit like threading cotton through the Eye of a needle Beautifully put. Use a sewing machine which has automatic threading. Man can always create a device that makes difficult tasks easy. But we can't create a device for life. Another needle analogy. Life is like picking a needle in the haystack. Nice poem. Thank you David.

A great poem, life can really be like threading a needle, you have your aims in life, you miss, but you always get there in the end.
