You have brilliantly depicted the two faces of religion: good and evil. Some people are using religion to cover their misdeeds and wickedness.
An excellent write exposing the ills of religion. So well crafted and presented.
Only few among poets get time to think and write about this. Good job my brother.
We really should do a poetry project together someday. You are incredible_ please read and rate my poem, notably _'Let's Grow Together'
Excellent poem. As i always say religion is a fiat akin to politics. It is used to control the minds of people for the benefit of clergy and yet science in its broad sense is life and life is science.
Religion when practiced by some, is an evil thing indeed. A masterfully written poem, Chinedu.
Well painted. Religion is political and has nothing to do with God.
I love when poet speaks their truth so poetically and I agree, I think religion separates us and we're all God's children....awesome write
Religion has been used to manipulate the gullible followers for selfish ends. Interesting reading.
Hi Kingsley, thanks for your insightful appraisal of the poem. Remain enriched.

Hi Saibal, thanks for your insightful appraisal of the piece. Remain enriched.

As you say, religion is often a divisive force in the world. Each of the 3 monotheisms-Judaism, Christianity, Islam- believes that they alone are right and the others are wrong. Particularly Islam, I think, after reading a book on ISIS or just IS. A stimulating poem encapsulates all of this.
Hi Michael, thanks for your insightful appraisal of the poem. Remain blessed, sir.
A powerful and perceptive poem. You have a unique and powerful voice, voice that we need in time of uncertainty. Thank you for sharing this great poem.
