I. Mirror of Remembrance
At the ribbon's end,
the elder mind sits—
its hollows etched by centuries of dusk,
canyons where echoes linger.
From the wear of worlds long passing,
a gem is born:
a shard of inward flame,
the lamp reflecting what was forgotten.
II. Spark of Desire
The younger mind rises
like a fountain newly sprung,
waters bright with hunger,
swift to chase horizons.
It casts constellations upon the void,
testing the edges of becoming,
waking the nameless ground of light.
This is the spark of desire for union.
III. Flame of Union
Why cast them as adversaries?
The shadow does not contend with flame,
nor does the drop contend with the sea.
They lean into each other—
a vessel of the current,
a reflection of the whole,
the lamp burning as a single flame.
IV. Fire of Surrender
At the ribbon where time folds inward,
beginnings and endings clasp hands.
Here, the pulse of youth
melts into the still fire of age;
and the dazzled spark
surrenders to the abiding ember.
The lamp remains unyielding,
steady in its glow.
V. Path of Knowledge
Through valleys of silence it guides,
casting light on veils of illusion,
revealing the faces of shadows.
It teaches that every fragment
belongs to the whole.
The lamp whispers:
To know is to be undone.
VI. Sea of Oneness
All currents flow homeward
to the same ocean of radiance.
The lamp dissolves into water and wave,
a tide carrying names and forms
back to their source.
Here, no drop is lost;
all are the sea of oneness.
VII. Pure Light
Beyond mirror, beyond spark, beyond flame—
beyond all knowledge and sea—
nothing remains but the Light itself,
the lamp unveiled in eternal essence.
Here silence crowns all things,
and the One gathers all in One:
no longer lamp, but Pure Light alone.
