i was seeking a poem from you to use in my/our June showcase; i'm featuring poems only by females this month. but your poems on PH are 'few' and longer than i want to use. this one tempts me, though it is a bit long. and, though i like the rhyming, i'm not sure i will follow the story well even by more rereading. i've guessed it is symbolic of something political going on in some area of the world today. but it says fairytale and sounds................ooops! i see we both spelled fairy tale as one connected word [fairytale]................ like a fairy tale. but i see: fair·y tale ˈferē tāl/ noun noun: fairytale a children's story about magical and imaginary beings and lands. synonyms: folk tale, folk story, traditional story, myth, legend, fantasy, fable the movie was inspired by a fairy tale denoting something regarded as resembling a fairy story in being magical, idealized, or extremely happy. modifier noun: fairy-tale a fairy-tale romance a fabricated story, especially one intended to deceive. synonyms: lie, white lie, fib, half-truth, untruth, falsehood, tall tale, story, fabrication, invention, fiction; More informalwhopper, cock-and-bull story she accused him of telling fairy tales Translate fairytale to Use over time for: fairytale Please let me know if you would like a poem used in the showcase and, if so, if you have one not much longer than 25 lines. or, with your permission, i would shorten one of yours, noting such in the showcase. bri :)
