ego can get the best of people when it gets out of control. it can be the enemy of the soul.

Ego has no mind no heart, has rebel rules, is a silent killer, and in short is the enemy. Beautifully expressed in the poem. Keep away from ego. Thank you.

Sis while I was reading Allama Iqbal came and said lo! your Shahzia how rightly said ego which I worked Khudi ko kar...ego is good and bad we must discad the bad and adhere the good one best work need to be written on this topic and also we should not forget character we are at the ruin door of humanity and Ellias has said that Valsa also added tenterhooks of ego! Ramesh Rai rightly said ego. a good subject with Ego and Geetha Jayakumar, just a three letter word, enough to kill one with thoughts.supportive explanation But ego is the instinct of human kind it is both evil and holy

Deftly proffered in this clever conversation but wisely too humble to brag while delivering this subtle truth.

Now people are severly caught on the tenterhooks of ego! It dies when it needs to live It lives when it needs to die...... so true! Fortunate is the man with lesser ego. It is 'like a silent killer'. To deal with a man of inflated ego is a pain, indeed! A powerful write Shahzia! ! Thanks for the comment and also for the poem by Sylvia Plath!

but in general self respect is termed as ego. a good subject with supportive explanation. ego n self respect goes parallel where ego is defined as negative n self respect as negative. this is like crucial sum of mathematics n i adore your courage for making an attempt. thnx n regards always.

Beautiful poem on way, Shahzia. Ego just a three letter word, enough to kill one with thoughts..If it keeps on rising then after a certain height it will fall directly to ground and badly wounded or die also..It will turn all the relationship into sour ones. It will be too late to realize...Loved the way you presented this particular topic Ego..++++10
