The End Of 18 Months Of Therapy 25th September 2025

Rating: 5.0

As endings draw near, fear's familiar face
appears once more, with uncertainty's dark pace.
Eighteen months of growth, of trials and of strife,
Counselling's guiding light, a beacon in my life.

The thought of letting go, of moving apart,
Weighs heavy on my heart, a daunting work of art.
I honour the pain, the fear, the uncertainty,
And remind myself: it's okay to feel vulnerability.

Yet, in reflection, I see a stronger me,
Emerging from the storm, resilient and free.
Counselling's tools and wisdom have served me well,
To navigate life's twists, its unpredictable spell.
They've helped me face the fear, embrace the unknown,
To stand tall through the tears, no longer alone.
Though sessions may end, support stays near
A safety net to catch me when doubts reappear.

I'll be gentle with myself, as I transition and grow,
Letting emotions rise, letting my spirit glow.
I'll celebrate my progress, honour this stage,
And welcome the next chapter, an open heart a blank page.

Eighteen months of guidance, support, and care,
A journey of self discovery, with you always there.
Your empathetic ear, a safe and trusted space,
Helped me untangle emotions, find my inner pace.
With compassion and wisdom, you walked beside me,
Through trials and triumphs, you helped me see.
You offered tools and strategies to light the night,
And celebrated my wins with warmth and delight.
Your kindness, patience, and understanding know no bounds,
A steady presence that helped me turn my life around.
I'm grateful for the laughter, the tears, and the growth,
For all that we shared, and the lessons I now hold.
So, thank you, dear therapist Neus, for your care and your time,
For helping me find strength, and courage to climb.
You've made a lasting mark on my heart and my mind,
And I'll carry your wisdom, forever aligned.
