Gradually constructs its point in a way that mirrors the process: that we gradually forget the lessons of war and its origins, and so the cycle, which the obvious lessons should break, sadly and slowly begins again. Will we ever learn! !

its brilliantly written- like to quote - Those who knew what was going on here must make way for those who know little. And less than little. And finally as little as nothing. // great wisdom in applying word as title- The End and The Beginning

The End of war and The Beginning of cleaning parts of the town, many dead persons lying there upon the grass, duties and plights must be done, each his/her own task in this after war time. A well balanced poem in structure as well as in content. With tad humour included and very touching is this wonderous poem.Congratulations MPOTD.

In the grass that has overgrown causes and effects, someone must be stretched out blade of grass in his mouth gazing at the clouds........ so touching and impressive. Beautiful poem shared.

The aftermath of war with all its arguments and intentions, leaves behind the trash of it all and those who pick up the pieces and carry on. The poem carries some memorable lines such as: 'All the cameras have left for another war'

Unfortunately those who have to 'clean up' and bear the burden of a war have very little to do with it... A really deep and touching poem...
