The Empires Of Your Lonely Thoughts Poem by Benjamin Chiu Uy

The Empires Of Your Lonely Thoughts

The Empires Of Your Lonely Thoughts

Only noware you beginning to see yourself in the lights of themirror,

From the early lights the last chapters into the emerging night shadows,

A descendant of that far ancient God,
just a seed planted in this vast cosmos,
Vast acreages of mother earth's womb,

Your own empires, in your lonely thoughts,

Among these walking people, , the roullete wheels of fortunes, the miracle of a small enterpreneures,
The winning number, in this game of chance
only to lose again,

the ever changinglandscapes of the cities.
the street walkers on the dim bars and the unrulydrunkards and even the drug addicts,
the daily muggings, and homicides in their homes and nightimes streets,

Now comes the finale,
In fears of the dissolving dusts, the terminal cancers and the moral judgment from this mystic author,

His weighing scales of the mortal sins,

He might just have forgotten his own image in dementia he hadever fathered such a sons or a daughters,

Or might be be his practical joke.coming from the master showman himself,
The clowns, the puppets and the marionettes played in his own amusement theme parks.
