When in college, my Dad, John J. Hallahan, wrote the following Limerick. I think it was published in a Boston Newspaper, probably the Boston Globe. My Dad was born in 1927, so this would have been a long time ago.
I'm not sure if I have the title correct.
The New Gnu
There was a new gnu at the zoo,
but just how new nobody knew.
If we'd asked he'd have told,
but we couldn't be bold,
because nobody knew the new gnu.
