(Female European Cuckoos lay their eggs only in the nests of other species of birds. A cuckoo egg usually closely mimics the eggs of the host)
In my nest
I kept the eggs
of hopes and dreams,
close to my chest
and tended them all
blessed blind in patience
and long eggspectations!
Before their hatch
how could I know,
alas, I’ve sat upon
a few cuckoos’ eggs,
fulfilled the dreams
not mine, the hopes
of someone else.

I love it and know this ecology well.... you are Eggspecially nice to symbolically (symbiotically) nuture and carry someone's elses fragility of eggshells... aroha xxxx
Bitter poem written about a wound. Its picture is 'The Calumny of Apelles' (La Calunnia di Apelle') by Sandro Botticelli, now in the Uffizi.
Delicious! Check all the eggs - I'm sure that some will be your own. Fx
hopes and dreams are part of expectations...and love and care natural follw up...eggs would certailny hatch out to...cuckoo's yours or crow's 10
I smiled and smiled as I read this. It goes so well, Onelia, with your comment that your life us under permanent construction so you don't have time to write your memoir. You must be really real. Don't worry, your eggspectations will hatch under the warmth of your summer soul.
Sometimes in life, one becomes more effective in helping others fulfill their goals other than his; in this way he is also being benefited indirectly! High marks.
