i like this, deepak! pleasant, tender. i need to do this myself and go back through my postings, i.e., recategorize some of what i called haiku to senryu. haiku, technically speaking, has a reference in the first line that anchors it in a particular season. when not there, but in the same form as this poem of yours, it's senryu. -glen
