The Early Worm Poem by Jeremy Willson

The Early Worm

Rating: 5.0

I always arrive to school early
And no one is ever there so I begin to worry
Maybe I've been left behind
If someone else is coming give me a sign
Before I get eaten by hawks or seagulls
Then get thrown into a pile of bones and skulls
It's not always best to be the early worm
Cause then you get eaten by the early bird
