One particularly modern view of the EPIC is to place the story of a perhaps fictional but representative individual against a background of Big Historical Events. The young protagonist's drumming shows his impatience with the pace of life, his aggressive noise shows he wants to be valued for himself, his persistence shows he is anxious to make a mark on the world. Gradually, he realizes there are largerforces at works that ignore him. That's where you leave tasting failure for the first time. But he will rally. Bang! Bam! Bum! He will keep beating the rhythm of life.

Think, dear Daniel that the poem was written having in mind the leader of the opposition then party in Hellada who became and serves as our prime minister. He was so aargante, demagogue, lier... promising everything to everybody....sayng that when in power he will hit the drams and the markets will follow his rythm...The poem proved to be a vindicated prophesy.

A vindicated prophesy was it, since it was written for the leader of the oppositio who becamme our primeminister. He was promising to everybody everything, , was menacing the world's markets that when in power they will dance in the rythm his drums will by him be hit.A laicist, cheap demagogue who now reaps the bitter fruits of his falsity arguments.
