The Dripping Tap Poem by Jennifer Birchall

The Dripping Tap

Rating: 4.8

I chose to spill my soul onto the page
Like a dripping tap the words fell one by one
My mind burst, needed a bigger outlet
So out poured the sentences
Running too fast, the overflow stopped working
All my thoughts and feelings
Like a river trying to find the sea
And there it flows

Delicate and beautiful. Aren't we all hoping to reach to our destination, as a river to the sea? Thanks for sharing.

A delicate description of your emotions. When you have held the tears in for so long, once the tap turns on it is hard to stop it.
