The Dreamcatcher Poem by Jim Yerman

The Dreamcatcher

Rating: 5.0

"Dad! " I screamed one night. "There's a monster beneath my bed! "
"No need to worry." Dad smiled. "Take this dreamcatcher instead."

"It's guaranteed to scare off monsters...no matter how big, ugly, or mad.
You see it only lets the good dreams in...and filters out the bad.

And since that day there's been no monsters...only good dreams have I had...
And I wonder...was the magic in the dreamcatcher...or the magic in my dad?
