well, fiona, i like this very much. and i enjoy the poet note as well, though i probably don't care TOO much how other people see me........as long as they don't tell lies about me or incorrectly interpret me. ok, i may deceive myself some, but i like the way i view myself for the most part, and don't want to work hard enough to correct my (few) bad qualities. my favorite line: Now I walk through life with the memory of my reflection, ... all the lines are good. and i like the punctuation. you either proofread this one, or you did a fine job without proofreading. a sinner? for real? what are your sins, besides sometimes letting type-os get by ya? of course you and most/many other poets capitalize the first word of each line. i do not usually do this, but i do not disapprove; i'm just making an observation. and again, i find i have been trapped in what is sometimes a mistake: assuming that the narrator of the poem is actually also the poet her/himself. perhaps you, like me, are not really a sinner? ? ? and this is not about YOU? thanks for sharing. bri :)
