Clouds surge in the air and electricity soothes my mind
Shadows create brilliant patterns around my feet
The door once closed has opened again
And I turn the corner as the rain falls
My hair clings to my face as I face the desolation alone
My hand ripples across the wall
My heart is pounding and it’s beat swallows my throat
The fear so visible in my eyes it stings my cheeks
But I see the light so fair away
My hands reach out to touch the warmth
But only ice clings to my bones
I shiver as the shadows hiss around my body
They steal my very life and love away
Though threw the darkness I find serenity
Compelled by its misery and the poison in its touch
Consumed by a memory, my body shakes in sorrow
Your smile pulls me up, your touch so comforting
I see the love so clearly yet do you only see lust
The path set before me has many roads to turn to
Yet which one will lead me to my damnation I couldn’t tell
I’ll go by faith and cling to the light I want so desperately
The thoughts of you return to me, your body so close to mine
Your eyes hold that love that makes my heart skip a beat
If I can find the strength to fight back my tears
To push away all anguish and follow your lead
I’ll be fine, just lead the way
The halls are getting longer and I can’t find the end
Is there an end to this constant journey I face?
I believe you to be my soul mate and will heal me
The door shuts behind me so I must find my way
But when one door closes another one opens
So can you lead me to one that beacons me?
The song of love so crisp in the air
I can almost taste its joys and bliss
I can almost feel your healing kiss
I’ll wrap my arms around your neck
And stair deep into your eyes
I don’t have to utter one word
You can all ready read my mind
So keep the door closed, I don’t want this to end
Keep out time and make nothing else matter but us
Just for this moment, to keep for eternity
Be with me and love me for who I am
And accept my love in return for you all ready hold my heart
So before the shadows come to whisk me away
Hold me close and speak to me those beautiful words
'I’ll love you forever more, until time becomes unheard of'
So cross your heart with the dagger of trust
And I’ll spill the blood of love on your hands
My tears will fall but we will see each other again
Nothing can keep us apart, patience is all we need
The ghost of you and me will follow our hearts
Our love will stay eternal even if we part
Remember my love, I promised you my heart
Nothing can break that and I’ll wait forever
Just take the last step and the last breath
Close your eyes and kiss me goodnight
Until tomorrow, will i see you again
But it feels like eternity is standing between us
My heart aches to feel that touch again
The rain falls down around us

You cry into the darkness but I place my finger on your lips

Is all I whisper to you as I lock my hand with yours
We'll freeze this moment and live together here
That’s all we need, is one another
Nothing more or less to pass us by
But don’t fret my love the gods smile upon us
And give us the blessing of true love
This bond is eternal and will forever last
Because the light that shines in the darkness of this hall
Is the light that will lead us to one another
And will hold the solution we have been begging for
