THE DIVINE VOID
-------------------
Perhaps you live no more,
Your being appears now, as momentary sparks!
Before fading away again,
From and within our beliefs and imaginations.

As the void echoes deep inside,
We wonder why?
Ask how?
And look for answers!
Which none shall ever give.

Wisdom now seems hilarious!
Memories are packed,
Facts were just facts!
Discoveries were just an act!
Nothing special apart from novelty,
A new version of absurdity!
As we have new pains for an advanced gain!
All those age old anxieties remain!
And we search for peace-
Hearing fake drops of rain!
With a hope it came from the deserted heaven!

Promiscuity screams out momentary pleasures!
Profanity amuses feelings beyond measure,
Another lively life gets born,
While a tired one dies!
As we all go on the voyage of our lives!
Decorated by truthful lies!

Some prodigal parties happen every night!
Where idiots come and go out of sight!
Photographs videos and million selfies,
Freezing moments, in vanities of false realities!
Reality screams in unrealistic dreams!
Illusions stimulates insomnia on smart screens!
As we live another day without you,
You aren't there anymore, is proven to be true!

But you really don't care, and neither do we!
We are revelling in our madness, as you can see!
Some are planning new strategies in deep silence,
Swinging from cold cruelty to warm benevolence,
Your guesses will strain and surely have stress,
How we changed our masks alongwith our dress!
Wondering, who they are or I am?
We're all insanely enjoying our living life scam!

Who cares for morals goodness and truth!
Who cares for true love, or if you are good!
If you are feared then you are geared!
To go ahead and rule!
No one taught this when we were in school!
They filled empty spaces in hearts of future fools!

Divinity, now rests in peace, with lucid silence!
As we ploy to fill the void with a new presence!
A newer story and narrative to wash our brain,
A pill we will swallow without questioning again!
