The Distance In Your Eyes
Two inches from me,
you feel a thousand miles away.
The distance in your eyes,
matches that of my feelings.
I cried so hard last night,
I'm surprised I have any tears left for today.
My memories
are bittersweet
and i wonder
what tomorrow will bring.
