Well, I think you've brought your friend's call/ deep concerns to us with emotion. The slight spelling mistakes will always be a'tiny drop' compared with the sincere feelings voiced through your poem. Keep writing, Rudy! And as far as the topic is concerned, as I write, we can already talk of a 'move', though still fragile, some people say. Thanks for sharing your poem(s) Maria

Conflictual issues are based on the might in this world not on justice. I see we should consider the afthermath of our action, if it satisfies us that is good or we should wait and self fortify till we would be able to win.

The thing with the world we live in....we are under control...the powers that be are fuel'd by greed...leaving the less fortunate to suffer...and so the world keeps turning in their favour..............A very honest piece you have so perfectly penned here Rudy.....keep expressing 10+ Best of Health & Happiness Jon

I hate to strike a sour note here among all the plaudits, but this seems to me a rather one-sided view of what is actually going on. I saw no mention of the rockets that Hamas has been raining down on Israel for some time now, and which actually provoked this conflict in the first place. There's no point in making emotional statements in poetry if the facts are so one-sided. I support neither side, and I certainly don't agree with war as a means to solve anything, but Hamas is responsible here, and their leaders have even stated that the aim was to draw Israel into a ground war in Gaza so they could inflict the greatest damage on the Jews. It seems to me that they got their wish.

This is a nice poem and it is true because 95% of people in the United States do not care about anybody but themselves and for them to go out of the way and care about someone other than themselves is extremely ignorant. But now that you realize that there is more to life than yourself you can make an effort in order to make your place in the world and give some of your time to people less fortunate than you. This can mark the first step in a long road to success because you give what you get and if you give a lot it will come back to you some way shape or form. Andrew Burant

Your concern should be the same to everybody. Only a thousands and thousands of cries could stop that bloodshed. Good work my young girl.
