I read and experienced this Poem in many forms and languages, with or without Music of the Trio Jibran.. Mahmoud wrote this poem at the end of his life, knowing that he was dying, and this is his farewell to the world, A number of interpretations were done, among them is one in sign language which is the most artistic in my opinion it went far beyond spoken language among the 100s of poems Mahmoud wrote, I believe this is his most personal one, and my personal favourite
