What a haunting poem. It's insight is fabulous, wonderfully written. Not everyone embraces their youth full force, but it does not mean they have to reflect on their life in sadness.. acceptance is key.
This beautiful poem gives a lot to think about. First, 'it flew near the sun', what real life event was the 'sun' for this youthful bird? We probably all have some regrets, my biggest regret was spending too much time... umm, lets call it angry even though it was so much more. Everyday I now try to never think that I stood around as life passed. There are so many chances every day in life, I take those I think best, and try to never dwell on those I skip.
