The Demise Poem by Gerry Legister

The Demise

On the day your temper arose
The fallen star foretold a demise
Will come over in the dark cloud
Like an angry overpowering crowd.

Where the Humility has faded
With the pride you have paraded
Revenge has besieged your soul
For the love of power and gold.

See the way darker than before
A tempest climbing on the shore
And that fear of the mighty one
Has taken the ruins far beyond.

The cords withing grows strong.
When all your realms are wrong.
