The Decision Poem by Benjamin Chiu Uy

The Decision

Rating: 4.0

The Decision

You who faulted the moon,
Resigns your passions long ago

would have thought
your life was a lie,
Your days were regrettable,
Unproved theories,
Little science,

Though love was an abomination,
Broken hearts and deserted homes,
Stimulant addicts, paid women
was predominant,

A sleighshoulder,
crafty pretenders,
Icy liceon the skin,

Thought it wise to stay in the shadows,
Where you belong,

A bad audio recording,
A broken arrow,
A nightmare and a trash can,

Consigned your life as holocaust,
To the bad dreams, bad romance,
To the hidden boondocks,
To the barracks,
To this little cave,
Bones reflects the past.
