The Death Of Alone



There are times when alone is unwelcome
When emotions are not held in check
And there's no going back to yesterdays hurt
Because it's a pain in the neck

While you wish that you hadn't been selfish
That your thoughts wouldn't stay in the past
On an uncharted course, you went full steam ahead
And the words that you spoke were your last
