The Deadliest Wasps Poem by Kevin Patrick II

The Deadliest Wasps

More deadlier then a yellowjacket
They sting you, purely out of willful spite
Drawing on their reservoirs of malice
Foaming through their needled aculeata
Punctured in protestant work precision
which atrophies in capitalist lesions

They are evolutions perfect Narcissist
Invasive predators without boundaries
Preserved within an exoskeleton
Of chitinous charm and coy politeness
While their Anglo Saxon proboscis
Consumes greedily with well mannered savagery

Hear their piercing, ear screeching arrogance
Buzzing with white bred hypocrisy
As they stain the air scouring for prey
Like a scourge of good valued Christians
Searching hungrily for weaknesses
In social statues, race and culture

Belligerent to all other species
They build nests of suburban cloisters
Concealed behind walls of entitlement
Mixing pulp with their upper class saliva
Their ensconced with a vain anatomy
And a solipsistic compound vision

A curse to Linnaean taxonomy
They are an ecological disaster
called American exceptionalism
Inflicting their sharp knifed incisors
With unrelenting venomous malice
They are this planets... apex parasite
