Another magnificent write, Shaun. Fear, imminent danger, cruelty and nightmare have been vividly and brilliantly depicted in this amazing poem. A reader can feel the intense emotion felt by the child portrayed in this write. Spellbinding and powerful.

Rose Marie thank you. I recently viewed Schindler's List there was a little girl dressed in red who walks unscathed through scenes of black and white carnage and returns home and goes to bed. Later on we see the body of said innocent in red thrown onto a burning funeral pyre. it is an image I'll never forget, so powerful and tragic. This was written out of respect for all the fallen innocents. Thank you Rose Marie.
