The Day I Saw Her Poem by Entrush Chakma

The Day I Saw Her

The day I saw her,
I felt something within her.
A longing to know was started,
So I sat, and writing started.

I saw her gentle smile,
Which made everything fine.
Then I noticed her beautiful eyes,
I saw some grief that hides.

With time, we became friends;
We shared about our days.
Now I knew the grief
That hides in her eyes deep.

Our friendship grew, so warm and bright;
We talked from morn to night.
We shared past stories,
And made new memories.

One day, I shared,
Will she be the moon in my sky.
Silence lingered,
But later, I got the answer.

If we can't be together,
In human life here.
I will be always there,
Around her in the form of air.

I will be always there,
Around her in the form of air.
