The Dawn Poem by Nosheen Irfan

The Dawn

Rating: 5.0

When the sun wakes
The heart wakes too
To the light of love
That flows gently
Into the current of blood
To the chirp of hope
That floats in the air
Bridging the distance
Between you and me
It's the dawn, a new dawn
Created from a thousand tears
Of the last night
Touch the grass
With your feet
Sip the dew
From fresh leaves
Chase the love
On butterfly's wings
Hold the sunshine
In grateful hands
Dawn is here
Shadows are buried
In the darkness
Awake!
The sun kisses your hand
Feel its warmth
Touching your soul.

A poem with an amazing flow and full of love and care. The morning brings peace to the earth and with that one feels drawn to the loved ones. Liked it.

Shadows are buried leaving the light unhindered, finally. Allowed at last to float and flow, found everywhere. The butterfly's laced wings, the sunshine golden in our palms. Beautiful, hopeful, celebratory writing. A treasure to read. Bridging the distance so marvelously.
