The Daughters Of Babylon Poem by Shaun Cronick

The Daughters Of Babylon

Rating: 5.0

The sirocco blows harshly over the Lady of Kingdoms,
The Devil's confusion is spoken in babbled tongues.
The first Angel's warning was one of choice.
The latter Angel's was one of proclamation,
For all nations have drank the wine of wrath.
And Babylon has fallen, Babylon has fallen.
Come out and do not partake, many left,
And so it was.
And this truth is difficult to convey to others.
Most cities behave like ladies, while others act like whores.
