The Dark Before The Dawn Poem by Timber Koleden

The Dark Before The Dawn

Rating: 4.6

Behold, night is now casting
its black curtains all around.
The day is no longer lasting,
and shadows now will surround.

The blackness is deep and chill,
and the air is sharp and cold.
It has swallowed all the light until,
there is not any sunlit gold.

The question rages in our
minds, how long must this be?
How long until that blazing hour?
When the light we again see.

Do not lose hope my friends,
night must come and last a while.
It might seem years till it ends.
But wait with hope another mile.

Night must come so morn might blaze!
Wait yet a while and hope on,
for the morning will distill the haze.
This is only the dark before the dawn.

A wonderful poem embellished with great imagery and poetic expressions. Very inspiring. Hope is a driving force of faith. It fuels us to conquer darkness. A great theme.
