The Dark Abyss Poem by Erik Mcconniel

The Dark Abyss

I sit here cold in this room of hell nothing has come to the heart of my black mind in its dark zone of layers. I sit in the dark alone on a rainy night thunder in the background I hear animals scurrying through trash for food cars on the road the water under there tires. Then a big boom of thunder and lighting power goes out. Nightmares start to happen I hurry quickly to get a candle there’s blood on the wall blood writing in the mirrors I’m coming to get you u think you will escape I know where u live. I hurry frantically to find a candle I grab a knife just incase of something would attack me in the dark of my own house after that message I feel something strange on my foot so I swing the knife I slice my skin and I start bleeding from my leg I scream help to see if someone would here me but no response try to call the cops for help got nothing I think I’m going to die here I’m my own house is this house haunted I say to my self in a murmur. I screamed AM I GOING TO DIE IN THIS HELL HOLE. What’s going to happen to me I said I don’t know only time will tell from this dark cold night of Hell.
