The Dance Of Creation And Destruction Poem by Santanu Banerjee

The Dance Of Creation And Destruction

In the heart of the cosmos, where shadows collide,
Brahma breathes life into the void, a whisper, a tide,
From the depths of silence, emerges a song,
A melody woven where the ancients belong.

With four faces turned to the realms of the known,
He paints the canvas of time, where galaxies have grown,
Each star a flicker of purpose, each planet a dream,
Yet in this vast tapestry, nothing is as it seems.

Vishnu, the preserver, cradles the world,
In his arms, the balance of chaos unfurled,
He walks through the ages, a blue-hued embrace,
In every heart's longing, he finds his place.

But behold, the Nataraja, Shiva's cosmic twirl,
In the dance of destruction, the universe's whirl,
His feet strike the rhythm of life's fleeting breath,
As worlds rise and fall, in the cycle of death.

Amidst the chaos, the lotus unfurls,
From muddy foundations, a beauty unfurls,
Its petals, like whispers of truth in the night,
Illuminate paths through the darkness of plight.

The ocean churns deep in a turbulent trance,
As gods stir the waters in a timeless dance,
From the depths of the abyss, treasures arise,
The nectar of wisdom, the light in our eyes.

Yet Maya, the illusion, wraps truths in disguise,
Like avatars wandering under infinite skies,
Reality shifts like the sands of the shore,
What is the essence, and what is folklore?

Karma weaves threads in the fabric of fate,
Each choice a ripple, both heavy and weight,
In the garden of dharma, we sow and we reap,
In the silence of shadows, our destinies seep.

So let us embrace the dance of the divine,
In creation and destruction, our spirits align,
For within every ending, a new dawn will break,
In the cosmic ballet, we find the heart's wake.

In the echoes of life, where the sacred entwine,
Through the dance of existence, the eternal design,
We rise like the lotus, from chaos to grace,
In the rhythm of being, we all find our place.
