Enjoyed this one Linda, and you have so much talent, so sorry about your life as it is for you now... But try to look at the cards you are delt with and move ON, and try to learn from the bad, and mistakes that have occured, it is a hard thing to do for all of us, however I believe things happen for a reason in life, sometimes the worst of things, we may not have an answer today, but somehow, somewhere, it appears before us.... Very tender and filled with much emotion.... Bonnie

Been there, done that, Linda. You speak a lot of truth in these lines. My favorite stanza are these two lines: No more pretending to be something I'm not, as I summon the courage that time has forgot I have stopped pretending to be something I am not years ago, and now I demand to be treated and addressed as the woman I am and always have been. People say that I have courage, and that I am brave to bare my soul in my poems. But I am just surviving, and living the life I was meant to live. It doesn't matter what package we come in, or how decent or bad we are, we all stand at the Crossroads Between Heaven And Hell, at one or another in our lives. I have stood at these crossroads many times in my life, but the Lord Jesus was there to guide me on the right path. With His help, I have pushed forward. We all can push forward, if we give courage a chance. Nice write and so full of emotion. This was written from the heart. WRITE ON! ! ! ! ! Love & hugs, Barbara
