The Crime Of Love Poem by Kellyn, A Grau

The Crime Of Love

The wings of a dove fall frail
As the blood poured down its back
The winds from the past grow mournful
As the bird has lost all knack
To spread its wings and fly
To see things in different perspectives
The light so bright with in its eyes
Has dull to a dimmer appearance
The hope that blossomed with in its heart
Was shattered when the winds betrayed her
Her heart decaying from so much torture
That the life she was knew was shattered
So where is the hands that pushed her high
Where is the love she once knew?
The trust and the hope that kissed her eyes
Now full of sorrow and pain
Her wings so fragile and bruised
The scars that scrap across her soul
Now exposing all the truth
She depended on the wind
To push her body high
The guidance that it brought to her
Had never been denied
Until the winds had broken her wings
Shattered all hopes of survival
And betrayed her very strive for life
By pulling them selves away
So she lays in her own pool of blood
More hurt by the lose that she gained
With the cold shoulder of deception
And rejection still aching her wings
Now mourn for the bird in the casket
The one who was so full of life
The days of her joy with in winds
Had ended in quite a tragic accident
With no one to pick up the pieces
And to help her heal those deep wounds
Her heart slowly died with sadness
As the winds disappeared from her veins
So call to the winds for her rebirth
Claim why was this crime committed
What had the fowl done to deserve this?
But love something with all she was
