Such a sad poem. My dad and I hated each other, but he never left us (until he died) . I can't imagine what you must have gone through (although your poem helps the imagination a lot) , must have been very frightening for a child (and your mum) .
Wow! ! So creatively presented in awesome and apt rhyming word choice. I admire each line and sad for what happened. Deserter dads are a pain of modernity. In the good old days faters were good n caring usually and hardly ever deserted wifey n kids. Kudos. Pls do review my latest poem too. Titled Tanzania.
