The Corpse Poem by Alonso Menendez

The Corpse

Rating: 5.0

a body lying in a pool of it's own blood where it was discarded in an alleyway where someone passes by and upon noticing it takes the wallet empties it and throws it away while sometime later someone else admiring the shoes takes them for there own leaving this cold dejected corpse alone to rot until the smell from the alley finally drove someone to call the authorities who then collected it in a body bag and this being the refuse of no use to anyone was summarily dumped in a hole and buried leaving nothing to mark it save a number and nobody cared.
this is how you made me feel
and you called it love.

This writing has so much going for it that I don't where to start. Let's just say that it's definitely worthy of Poem Of The Day! ! Great work, Alonso!
