The Concerns Of An Organ Donor Poem by Prem Nizar Hameed

The Concerns Of An Organ Donor

Dears,
A
Sincere
Question that
Often bothers me
Since the day one of Covid is:
What would be the scenarios soon after my death?
Or what would be the real post-death script in my life?
Suppose I fall into the grip
Of the pandemic,
The question
Neither
Goes
Off
Nor
Packed
Along
With coffin;
The remains may be
Buried or cremated as per
The protocol of Covid, but not preserved for long;
This kind of final journey may give my soul many
Unforeseen ramifications;
The term "May your soul
Rest in peace"
May ask
My
Soul
A
New
Question:
"Will you have
Peace, resting this way? "
How can my soul get peace, if my
WILL not executed in true letter and spirit?
Many testators may go through such an agony!
We do take care of our bodies
Not only for our
Short life, but
Also
For
Those
Who
Are
Waiting
For organ
Transplants; medicos
Waiting for study and research
On our cadavers; this pandemic is so heinous
That it spoils the hopes of donors living or deceased,
And of the needy in long queue;
Clinical guidance
Determines
Fate of
Such
WILL

I
Wish
To have
Bid adieu
In accordance with
My WILL fulfilling others hopes
For I'm one of the organ and cadaver donors
