From the barrenness of winter;
wakened in all their glorious color
the flowers return.
In one of nature's greatest validations,
a rainbow of them
fulfills the earth's faith.
They spring up along roadways,
wildly paint through meadows
and splash over rolling hills.
Each bud witness to a promise kept;
each blossom,
life's answer to the eternal hope.
