The Colour Of The Divine

Love is the hue the blind can see,
A shade poured down by divinity.
The Master Dyer weaves so bright,
A colour born of sacred light.

I am flowing water, unseen and still,
Your colour spills, I bend to Your will.
I shimmer, I dance, I come alive,
In hues of love, I rise, I dive.

The first song that enters my ears—
Is Your whisper through the morning breeze.
Your Colours, the hush of sacred hymns,
Pour into me, enlivening my heart's strings.

I wept for love I thought was true,
But I chased a hue that was never true.
Yet even in loss, I rise and see,
Love still holds me—in colours unseen.

I gaze above, where the light pours free,
Through the shades that live within me.
Darkness fades as dawn spills light,
Blinding me so I may feel Your shade once more!

The warmth of my mother's gentle embrace,
Is dyed in shades of Your boundless grace.
Her hands, her voice, her lullabies sweet,
All brush my soul in colours deep.

Our hearts beat as one, a pulsing refrain,
Chanting Your name through every vein.
Flowing like rivers, unseen but strong,
Your colour is rhythm, my life—its song.

The flowers that rest by my father's frame,
Hold the hues of love, yet whisper his name.
Missing him, I trace their fading shade,
Yet his scent lingers—though colours fade.

The blessing of his smile, in stillness remains,
A portrait of love, yet silence complains.
His colour unseen, yet I feel him near,
In every breath, in every tear.

And when the last colour graces my sight,
When darkness folds into eternal light,
The shade I taste, the hue I embrace,
Will be Your love—pure, endless grace.

Let me soak in Your colours all,
Let me witness love in shades untold.
Let me know love like never before,
Through Your colours never seen before.

O Painter of Light, drench me in You!
