i read this poem twice and i found that here plath establishes a contract between past glory and present downfall and also between the big and small. but, according to me, there should be harmony between thought in action so that a person will be able to clilng his or her own attitude as well as aptitude and as a result there will be no space for a pain as sylvia plath suffered.
I HAD THIS POEM IN MY B.A 1ST YEAR COURSE. I ALWAYS LIKED THIS POEM AND DONT KNOW WHY! ! WHENEVER I READ THIS, IT ALWAYS CRIPPLES MY HEART AND MIND. IT CLEARLY REFLECTS THE PAIN OF ELECTRA COMPLEX THAT SYLVIA PLATH SUFFERED FROM. I FIND IT SO INTENSE. DONT U THINK SO? ?
this poem is one of my favorites
