The Coldest Morn Poem by me poet yeps poet

The Coldest Morn

Your Lovely Poem Inspires
yes lovely poem
but imagine mine

I woke up this morn
no sun was born
clouds stood anchored in the sky
but can anyone tell me why
the snows were loaded
like coal on a truck overloaded
neither the truck moved back or forward
no birds whistled
no, not a sound
all about me were sleeping sound

Bang the door did someone
are you all dead
asked a voice
'tis 1 pm

The sun then did shine
like some sleek torch
coming from a mine
