It is obvious that you have a very emotional tie to this poem. That is such a good trait to have. It has been quite a time since I've read anything as heart and mind-usage inducing. Very very good.

Tyease, I really enjoyed this poem. Your flow was very good. Your rhymes seemed natural (vs. forced) . The poem held emotions well, that I could feel. I would have liked a 'little more' of images in order to 'see' it in my mind. I would highly recommend it to other's. Great job.

It is difficult to place the location of the poetic event. I got a little lost in the tropical island and the severe cold. Interesting poem though. Jim
