The Cold Drops Of Water Poem by Anil Kumar Panda

The Cold Drops Of Water

And the cold drops of water
Pouring down from the Heaven
Filling up holes, ponds and streams
As they flow across meadows and plains

And the cold drops of water
They are coming after the heat
Their touch bring relief and peace
When one gets soaked from head to feet

And the cold drops of water
Stay hung at the tips of grasses
They shine like diamond nuggets
When they hang on to girls' long tresses

And the cold drops of water
Fall upon the hills and run down
As streams singing sweet melodies
They run through villages and towns
