Sometimes words are sharper than arrows! They pierce right into our hearts! Unkind words can cut! They can destroy all zest for life! So we have to be very careful in using words! Let our words heal instead of wound! A poem emphasizing on the power of words!

Words cause more damage to the relationship than any weapons. You lose trust of people. Once the words come out of the mouth they don't return back but the repercussions last for ever. A very nice poem. Thanks for sharing.

Verbal abuse is much more hurtful than a slap on the face. It pierces like an arrow into the heart - never to be forgotten. Continuous verbal abuse can kill all hopes, dreams and will to live. Absolutely true Rose! All your poems ring the bell of truth, which i so admire.....5 stars

Verbal abuse is a silent killer, often unseen. The victim bears it to the detriment of his or her physical and mental well being and ultimately suffers from depression. 'Slowly killing Her desire to live' - this means that the verbal abuse has gone to the extreme and warrants immediate action to stop it.
