The Choice Is All Mine Poem by Randy McClave

The Choice Is All Mine

I wear a mask because the choice is all mine
No matter what is read off a sign,
And I took the vaccines it was also my choice as well
It was my decision and no one else's to tell.
Now many are saying that the government is controlling me,
But, I did what I did and my decision was free.

You wear your seatbelts because it's the law
And you don't whine or complain that it's a flaw,
And you can't buy smokes or alcohol until your 21
Never about that government control do you ever ramble on.
And when you are forced to obey traffic laws you always do,
And never do you cry or whine or threaten to sue.

Seemingly you are the one that's being controlled
Your thoughts and beliefs are one to behold,
You listen and you do want the news or what your leader does say
And then from the true facts you run and hideaway.
Your final protest is that the government can't control your body inside,
Unless there is a baby, then you're on the government's side.
