The Chinese Fever Poem by Tosin Adesokan

I know someone married to cold fever for centuries
He did sneeze and save successfully
Erratic or no medicine, the breathing hindrance vanishes temporarily
Surveying his life, one might take him for Furies


Months ago, I heard of someone in Florence
Sneezing and travelled using godsend bus within a month
Got to inform someone about the new cold fever emerged from Wuhan
I was told that someone was at the Center of Excellence in search ofpebbles


Someone came back to his built house
But got locked out by his pensive partner
Claiming he has to be quarantined
Before he could enter his house and paid for Paradise
Someone moved barring his whole holes


Knocking at Nobody's door, his lifetime friend
The cold fever visited his millennium lover again
Sneezing high and low
Skin is neither hot nor cold
Breathing difficultly for his wife did amaze him



Seeing the new fever symptoms
Nobody called the toll free contact
They carried Someone to an isolation island
He pleaded guilty claiming fever had been wife since
At the death centre, someone contracted new fever
With time, some got killed and not Chinese fever
But for his family



Nobody just buried someone
Not on the land but in the daily numbering chart
